Golf Trip Planner

Terms of Use

Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL NAME] (“we”) for your use of the Golf Trip Planner app and website (the “service”). By using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for using online services where you live, and able to enter this agreement. If you’re under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

Your account

You can plan trips without an account. Backing up and sharing trips need you to sign in with Google or Apple. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your phone and sign-in secure.

Your trips

What you add to the app stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display it as needed to run the service, including showing it to the people you share a trip with. This permission ends when you delete it, apart from copies in backups that expire over time.

If you own a trip, you decide who can join. Anyone with your invite code can join until you replace it. If you delete a trip or your account, people you shared it with lose access to it, along with their plans for it.

Purchases

Travel times, costs and other estimates

Everything the app calculates is an estimate. That includes when to leave, travel times, distances, time zones, schedule warnings and costs. Real conditions such as traffic, weather, closures, course pace and price changes can differ, and some figures are based on straight-line distances.

You’re responsible for your own plans. Check tee times, bookings, prices and routes with the course, hotel or restaurant, and leave extra time. We aren’t a booking service or travel agent, and we aren’t responsible for a missed tee time, a lost booking, or any cost that results. Follow the law and don’t use the app while driving.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Other services

The service relies on others, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Mapbox and Komoot, and on OpenStreetMap data. We aren’t responsible for their services, and features that depend on them may change or stop working.

Changes and ending the service

We may change or stop parts of the service. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. You can stop using the service, and delete your account, at any time. If we shut the service down, we’ll try to give you reasonable notice.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost bookings, travel costs, profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$20. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be waived.

Apple users

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its support. Apple has no warranty obligation beyond refunding the purchase price under its rules, and isn’t responsible for claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control as the App Store’s terms allow. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and we’ll change the date above when we do. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [PROVINCE OR STATE, COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict of law rules. This doesn’t remove any consumer protections you have where you live.
